Dear participants and speakers,
Thanks for your registration for the 1st Nordic MDS and MPN Educational Meeting and Scientific Symposium in Copenhagen, May 14th-15th, 2020.

The meeting will be postponed to April 29th-30th, 2021. We are working on maintaining the content and venues and will send out an updated program by latest October.
Please note that you will have to register for the rescheduled meeting, which you can do until February 1st, 2021. We still have your preferences stored regarding meals, accommodation, etc., and upon new registration you can ask to have this information transferred, if no changes are required.
Again, we are sorry for the trouble this may cause. Hope to see you in Copenhagen in April 2021 instead, and until then, take care and stay safe.

Our first priority is your safety and that of your patients. We also want to make sure that participants who come to ESH benefit from the presence of a complete faculty of global experts in their field. For these reasons, we have decided to cancel this year’s edition of this biennial meeting. The next conference will take place at the same venue in Budapest, on May 13-15, 2022.
If you are a registered participant and have already paid your registration fee for the meeting 2020, it will be reimbursed as effectively received.
We also inform you that a number of airline companies have announced the possibility to cancel at no extra cost, provided that this is done before the tickets expire. We invite you to make immediate contact with your travel agency.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this message will entail and we thank you for your understanding. We will continue to update the information on the ESH website but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Translational Research Conference on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms 2022 and we will be in touch with you with further information.
With kind regards,
The ESH Team
ASCO’s primary concern is the health and safety of the global oncology community and the patients we serve. As public health safety measures related to COVID-19 extend, the ASCO Board has concluded that the Annual Meeting, scheduled for May 29-June 2 in Chicago, cannot occur in person as planned.
Our mission is as important as ever. That is why we still intend to deliver the latest cancer science to the global community during the Annual Meeting timeframe using a virtual format that respects the contributions of the authors and the work of the Scientific Program Committee. In addition, abstracts will be published online and in the Journal of Clinical Oncology on our usual schedule. ASCO’s educational program will not take place during this timeframe, and we are exploring opportunities for the future.
We understand that many members and Annual Meeting participants are wondering about our specific plans and hope you understand that we are currently working to resolve the large number of operational details this change in plans creates.
Information on the format, dates, specific content, registration, refunds, and many other details will be available in the coming weeks and posted on am.asco.org.
