One-day Nordic MPN Spring Meeting

The Nordic MPN Study group is very pleased to invite you to the upcoming meeting on the 6th of March 2019 from 10:00 – 17:10 at Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport, Denmark

Topics for the day will include a status on the current Nordic MPN research i.e. results from finished and ongoing studies as well as key-note talks from professor, MD, Heinz Gisslinger (Medical University of Vienna, Austria) on interferon treatment in MPNs and from professor, MD, PhD, Olli Silvennoinen (Director of Institute of Biotechnology, Helsinki, Finland) on molecular insights into the JAK2 regulation in MPNs.  We will finish the day with a 3-course dinner at Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport (own payment: 200 DKK ≈ 27 EUR)

The meeting is aimed at both haematologists in-training, senior haematologists as well as scientists with interest in MPNs.

Reimbursement: Twenty Nordic participants may be reimbursed a maximum amount of 150 EUR for travel expenses and 10 Danish participants may be reimbursed a maximum of 500 DKK for travel expenses. 

Registration before March 1st to Trine Alma Knudsen (trak@regionsjaelland.dk). Please indicate whether you intend to have your travel expenses reimbursed and if you would like to participate in the 3-course dinner and if you prefer a vegetarian menu. 

Sponsors: The meeting is arranged by the Nordic MPN Study Group and sponsored by Novartis and AOP Orphan Pharmaceuticals. The meeting is held in accordance with ENLI’s (Ethical Committee for the Pharmaceutical Industry) guidelines. The sponsors have had no influence on content of program or choice of lectures.
